About Junior Achievement & The Powerful Partner Program
About Junior Achievement
Since 1965, JA has been empowering the next generation to achieve economic success by teaching essential financial literacy skills to students in K-12 classrooms.
Students who participate in JA develop age appropriate financial skill sets. They have access to a person who is willing to answer questions while providing guidance. This greatly increases their sense of self confidence and potential.
JA Teaches Transferable Skills
Students who participate in JA learn perseverance, resilience, self confidence, financial management, and process thinking. They become better employees, consumers, and citizens.
JA Feeds the Workforce Pipeline
JA exposes students to job possibilities they didn’t know existed. Students learn about career options including trade careers, technical careers, business careers, entrepreneurship, or other employment choices.
